To provide business grants and support to women entrepreneurs, enabling them to build sustainable businesses and uplift their communities
A world where every woman has equal opportunities to succeed in business and contribute to economic growth.
A Journey of Empowerment and Impact
The story of the The Hyperion Foundation began with a vision to bridge the gap between opportunity and access for women entrepreneurs in Sub-Saharan Africa. Founded on 9th May 2024, with our registered office at Boundary House, 91 Charterhouse Street, London, EC1M 6HR, we set out on a mission to transform lives through business grants, mentorship, and community support.
Our journey started with a simple idea—providing women with the resources they need to start and grow their businesses. We knew that by empowering women, we could create a ripple effect of positive change, impacting families, communities, and entire economies. However, we also understood that this mission could not be achieved alone.
Partnering for Greater Impact
From the very beginning, we sought out partnerships with like-minded organizations to amplify our impact. By collaborating with international institutions, philanthropic organizations, and corporate sponsors, we have been able to raise the funds necessary to support hundreds of women-led businesses.
Some of our key partners include:
These partnerships are not only financial. They also bring invaluable resources, tools, and networks to our grantees. Whether it is through co-hosting workshops, offering business tools, or providing expert mentorship, our partners help create a holistic support system for women entrepreneurs.
A Story of Transformation: Maria’s Journey
Maria, a young entrepreneur from Accra, Ghana, had always dreamed of starting her own business. She had a talent for fashion design and a vision to create eco-friendly clothing that empowered local artisans. However, like many women, she lacked the capital and mentorship needed to turn her dream into reality.
Through our Startup Grant, Maria received not only the funding to kickstart her business but also mentorship from a fashion industry expert provided through our partnership withvGates Foundation. Today, Maria’s business has grown to employ over 10 women, offering fair wages and creating sustainable fashion that is gaining recognition beyond her community.
Her success is just one example of how The Hyperion Foundation’s support can transform a single life and positively impact many others. Maria now mentors other women entrepreneurs, continuing the cycle of empowerment.

At The Hyperion Foundation, receiving a grant is just the beginning of a comprehensive support journey. Along with financial grants, grantees are provided with access to one-on-one mentorship from experienced professionals who offer personalized guidance tailored to their business needs. We host business development workshops that cover essential topics such as financial management, marketing strategies, and business planning. In addition, grantees gain access to a variety of tools and resources, including business templates, management software, and connections to a network of entrepreneurs. Our support also includes regular check-ins to monitor progress, address challenges, and celebrate achievements. Beyond funding and mentorship, grantees are invited to networking events, conferences, and webinars, offering valuable opportunities to connect with industry leaders and other entrepreneurs. Our ultimate goal is to ensure that grantees not only receive the financial boost they need but also have the knowledge, skills, and support network required for long-term success.
